About Us
Dell Canright, MA, LPC-S has been married to his wife Susan since 1981. They have three adult children and nine grandchildren. Before going into the field of counseling, he was a teacher (spending one year with Ethnos360 in Brazil) and a youth pastor for nine years. Dell and Susan also served as foster parents through the Buckner Baptist Children's Home.
Dell received his Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary in December of 1999. After completing his internship at a Christian Counseling organization in Bedford, he was licensed by the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2003. He later earned his certification to become a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor for associate counselors.
Our Story
With the help of pastors and business leaders, Christian Counseling of Mansfield was established in August 2003. The first meeting with two pastors and a local dentist took place in February 2003. From there, other pastors and leaders were invited to attend some organizational meetings, and CCM opened in August of that year. Our current location is at 2421 Callender Road, Suite 133, Mansfield, TX 76063, where we have been since July 2013.
Since the beginning, our goal has been to reach out to the community by offering counseling services. We are a Christian organization committed to helping others in their relationships and challenges.
